Functional Rage Conditioning

We've been raised to believe that pain/limited abilities is simply what we should expect as we age, "this is just life after 30," we say. The science has demonstrated this to be far from the truth and that this correlation is not causation; our limited abilities and pain has far less (if at all) to do with our age and is directly correlated to the less we move as we age. We've all heard the saying "You don't use it, you lose it." This applies to your joint health & physical abilities as well.

If joint pain/lack of physical capacity was in fact directly correlated to our age, then why are there 90 year old women who can still do full splits, pull ups, parallel bars? How can a 100 year old woman set the world record for 165lb deadlift? Further, if age was simply to blame, then why are our children, younger and younger, in so much pain, physically incapable & in the worst health percentiles we've yet to see in our country as a whole? What is the common denominator? Lack of movement. Why did our ancestors not experience these very same issues? Because with each revolution (agricultural, industrial, technological) we have developed ways to make our lives "easier," enabling us to move less, and thus the development of endless health problems develop and continue to grow.

That doesn't have to be your fate. This doesn't have to be "as good as it's going to get" for you. Explore FRC.

Functional range conditioning

is optimal for you if:

you're looking to improve your performance of a specific sport

you want to improve your flexibility &/or mobility &/or strength

you want to be able to do things you currently cannot do

you struggle with activities
of daily living

you experience chronic or acute pain

you feel pain/struggle with exercise or certain daily tasks

you experience a regular sensation of "tightness/stiffness"

you notice your abilities/exercise box has continued to shrink over time rather than expand

you simply want to expand your current abilities despite the absence of pain/restriction

The application of the Functional Range System improves articular mobility, overall strength/resilience, and neurological control. FRC is used not only for performance enhancement but also for injury rehabilitation and mitigation.

Because FRC is highly specific to the needs of the individual, it is appropriate for virtually everyone - professional athletes, police/military, soccer moms, the elderly, even those with artificial joints. FRC is the ONLY systematic approach tailored with laser precision to address the highly specific needs of the individual.

Kinstretch

Kinstretch is FRC applied to a group setting and can only be taught by licensed, qualified practitioners. Similar to FRC, it is adaptable to meet the needs of the individual, but rather being programmed specifically for the needs of one person as seen in an FRC (1-1) session, the group class is designed around a different joint(s) focus(es) each class. (i.e. We're all training hip internal rotation tonight).

Kinstretch is a great way to keep FRC principles part of your regular training regimen as well as a way to touch on some "secondary" priorities/joint focuses. Kinstretch may or may not replace your 1-1 FRC sessions over time, depending on the needs/goals of the individual. While you can attend the Kinstretch classes with no prior FRC training, you will maximize your training experience if you seek out private FRC training prior to your first class.
